Don’t choose a lamp based solely on its wattage. Pay particular attention to the physical dimensions of the bulb and the size of the enclosure. A bulb must fit neatly inside the reflector and protective cage. For many compact terrariums, 14 cm is sufficient, while the 20 cm version offers more space and broader coverage for larger terrariums and open enclosures.
