Biotopo Colombian Rubber Leaves from Colombia for bioactive terrariums

Biotopo Colombian Rubber Leaves bring an authentic piece of Colombian forest floor to the terrarium. These leaves form a sturdy and durable layer of leaf litter that is essential for a stable, bioactive setup. They provide hiding places for poison dart frogs, invertebrates, and other terrarium inhabitants, and support microfauna such as springtails and isopods.

Rubber leaves are known for their strong structure and slow decomposition. As a result, they remain intact for a long time and contribute to a stable substrate layer in which micro-life can develop optimally. This makes them particularly suitable for terrariums where a long-lasting and low-maintenance leaf litter layer is desired.

Exclusive Colombian leaf litter for Oophaga and biotope terrariums

Biotopo is the only supplier in Europe of Colombian leaf litter for terrarium use. The leaves are carefully collected from farms in Colombia, ensuring that natural forests are completely spared. This makes the product both authentic and sustainably responsible.

For species such as Oophaga sylvatica and histrionica, these leaves contribute to a realistic living environment. The package contains 15 leaves and is ideal for a natural and functional terrarium setup.
