Biotopo Colombian Guadua Leaves from Colombia for bioactive terrariums

Biotopo Colombian Guadua Leaves bring an authentic piece of Colombian forest floor to the terrarium. These leaves form a natural layer of leaf litter that is essential within bioactive setups. They provide hiding places for small animals such as poison dart frogs and support microfauna such as springtails and isopods, which help break down organic material.

Guadua leaves are known for their sturdy structure and slow decomposition, ensuring they contribute to a stable and natural terrarium substrate for a long time. This makes them particularly suitable for terrarium owners who want to create a sustainable and functional setup.

Exclusive Colombian leaf litter for Oophaga and biotope terrariums

Biotopo is currently the only supplier in Europe of Colombian leaf litter for terrarium use. The leaves are carefully collected from farms in Colombia, ensuring no damage is done to natural forests. This makes the product not only authentic but also a responsible choice.

For species such as Oophaga sylvatica and histrionica, which originate from Colombia, these leaves contribute to a lifelike habitat. The package contains 20 leaves and is ideal for a realistic and high-quality terrarium setup.
